The Devonshire Board of Directors is composed of five Devonshire residents who are elected by the Devonshire residents at the annual member meeting devoted to the election of board members. Any person who is a resident of Devonshire can run for a position on the Board of Directors. Ballots are sent to all residents prior to the annual member meeting to let them know who is running and give them an opportunity to add their name to the ballot.
After the elections are completed, the new Board convenes a regular meeting where they elect the officers who will be the President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary and Member at Large. The Board then meets at such times as there is HOA business to discuss and decisions to be made. The Board may also meet on an ad-hoc basis if there is important business to discuss prior to a regularly scheduled meeting. The meetings are open to the residents and public, and public comments are allowed, encouraged, and welcomed.
